DKK 250.00

Formed as The KutiMangoes in 2012 by Gustav Rasmussen and Michael Blicher, the band’s original compositions were inspired by a multitude of styles, particularly music from West Africa fused with the composers’ own backgrounds in jazz and rock.

The aim was to create a personal and unique style that connected cultures. For a decade they toured Europe, Asia and Africa and received several Danish Music Awards for their albums and live shows.

In 2022, The KutiMangoes changed their name to Sunbörn to reflect their musical development as well as to clearly communicate their own cultural background.

In the future, Sunbörn will continue to explore new musical horizons that bring people together andpush the boundaries of global music. In the meantime, please enjoy our selection of highlights from our first 10 years.
